The Product Manager is responsible for shaping and leading the product from idea to launch, acting as a bridge between customers, the engineering team, and business strategy.
– Identify customer needs and build the product vision (pricing, key features, policies, etc.).
– Gather feedback through interviews, surveys, or user testing to ensure the product meets real-world needs.
– Conduct market and competitor research (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) to identify opportunities and differentiators in the niche market.
– Build the product roadmap from MVP to upgraded versions.
– Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD) describing features and UX/UI needs.
– Identify and analyze user problems, translating them into concrete product requirements.
– Prioritize features based on business value and resources using frameworks such as MoSCoW.
– Collaborate with engineering teams (Outsource & In-house), marketing, and sales to ensure high-quality and timely product development.
– Manage Agile/Scrum processes, organize sprint planning, and track progress via Jira/Trello.
– Resolve team conflicts and anticipate risks (e.g., delays or technical errors).
– Launch beta tests and gather early customer feedback.
– Analyze usage data (NPS, retention rate) to propose enhancements.
– Take on various tasks such as product testing, customer support, or stakeholder collaboration.
– Report and plan on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
– Recruit, train, evaluate, and manage team members.
– Execute product- and project-related tasks as assigned by direct management.
Experience:
– Minimum 3 years as a Product Manager or in a related role (e.g., Business Analyst), preferably in CRM, ERP, SaaS, or AI.
– Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements and translate them into product features.
– Experience developing Insurtech products for the US market is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields (Degree not required if hands-on experience is strong).
– Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from design, development, testing to deployment, with a strong grasp of UX Analysis/Design for Web and App.
– Knowledge of SaaS architecture, including cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), API integration, and microservices.
– Familiarity with CRM system integration with other platforms (e.g., ERP, payment systems, data analytics tools).
– Ability to analyze, write business documentation, and build simple user flows and wireframes.
– Market analysis, feature prioritization, and project management skills.
– Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, or Figma.
– Excellent communication, persuasion, and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and stay flexible in a startup environment.
Preferences:
– Experience developing CRM or SaaS products from early stages.
– Understanding of Agile/Scrum process and MVP development.
– Fluent in English to work with international partners and documents.
